Jasper's Eye, theurge of the Blue Lake Caern



In the world of darkness Jasper is what is known as Garou. His story is still in progress. What is documented here is the basics of what has happened so far.

Jasper was raised, if one can call it that, in a trailer park on the outskirts of Chicago. His father an abusive alcoholic and his mother distant and frequently high meant that Jasper had little guidance. What he did have was anger, a lot of it. That anger was redirected from bullying and vandalism into more constructive avenues when he was about 10. His neighbor, an older Portuguese woman named Miriam, became something of a mentor to him.

It was through her that he learned much of his occult knowledge and found solace in Wicca, in a connection with the Goddess and with nature. At least until Miriam's death four years later, the same night his parents were slaughtered, the same night he Changed.

Jasper's First Change was triggered when he found Black Spiral Dancers attacking his mentor's home. Miriam had been the theurge and ritemaster of the local caern and had the beginnings of a new pack with her, helping her. They'd been completely unprepared for what happened. Jasper saw Miriam, dying on her kitchen floor with monsters all around her, and he had lost himself to his Rage.

Since then he has been staying with the pack that found him that day, split though it's been. He's made friends of a sort and found a measure of comfort in the knowledge that he is a creature of the Wyld. Miriam speaks to him through Dreams and he has taken her teachings and tried to mold them into the views of the Garou. It's taking time but in the chaotic months since his change he has learned much.
